Posttrombotic syndrome

   Posttrombotic syndrome is clinical expression of disorders caused by chronic hypertension secondary deep venous system cured with sequelae of DVT. Usually the syndrome is defined posttrombotic especially remote consequences of DVT of the legs and sometimes the inferior vena cava, although posttrombotice and syndromes of the upper limb and superior vena cava have the same basic physiological characteristics

  Posttrombotic syndrome include chronic disorders caused by increased pressure deep venous system, thrombosis occurring after this level. Such thrombosis can occur in many places, but most often they appear in the lower limbs. After an episode of acute flebotromboză manifestations posttrombotic syndrome may occur immediately, but usually there is a free interval of several months or even years.Most constant and earliest symptom is swelling, initially, it is discreet and only the ankle.He has increasingly affected person stands after long standing and during walking. Over time, swelling increases and extends up and come to rest no longer reduced by the total closure position orizont.It's (obliteration) or deep partial segment as a "champagne cork".
