High deep thrombophlebitis (Martorel syndrome)

   Martorell syndrome is the external iliac vein thrombosis (as in Cockett syndrome) but with the development of a highly visible movement suprapubiene derivatives. Vein thrombosis may occur in the right iliac.

   Iliac vein compression is defined by the left of varied etiology. The main issue is Left iliac vein compression by the right primitive iliac artery interbreeding, but are possible etiology of bone (hiperlordoze, compression by disc protrusion or osteophytes) possibly endovenous (valves, clamps, partial membranous septa). Under these conditions occurs iliac thrombosis followed by acute severe syndrome and resistant postflebitic medical treatment.
