Deep thrombophlebitis

   Thrombophlebitis consists of total or partial obstruction of a vein by intravascular coagulation, with the venous wall inflammation. Since the main complication is embolism, is part of tromboemboiica disease. differ evolving an initial state, the flebotromboza, of short duration (5-6 days), adhere poorly to the wall when venous clot, but has a clear tendency to embolism, and a later stage of thrombophlebitis, when the clot is adherent to wall, so less emboligen.Deep thrombophlebitis is a noisier picture and evolves in two stages: 1. Preedematos stage, characterized by fever of the 38 °, tachycardia, frequently exceed the proper temperature and restlessness, local signs of which attract attention: spontaneous pain in the calf muscles or planting, or limp weight, or leg pain dorsoflexia local muscle mass pressure. It is also noted a slight infiltration of tissues, with increased local temperature, cyanosis discreet and sometimes superficial dilated veins.
